On becoming Creative Director for PUMA, the electric collaboration saw an array of shoes hit stores last summer. While we loved everything from the fur pool slides, to the creeper colorways, nothing has us more excited than the duo’s debut collection.
On seeing the Fenty x PUMA FW16 collection, it’s clear that Rihanna has injected her edgy, cool-girl style into all of the pieces. Bringing to the front something totally new, her collection blends the brand’s sportswear identity with elements of Japanese culture and gothic detailing. It juxtaposes graphic lines with corset details to fuse elements that only Rihanna could make work.
