I remember the first time I bought a pair of vans. I was thirteen and trying to be a ‘cool girl.’ I had to buy them myself because my mother refused. She preferred Converses but, and I yelled back that ‘I was a Vans girl.’ And so the love affair began, and so did my collection. They were basically welded to my feet. I never took them off, ever.
A black pair for school, a blue pair for my surfer style, a leopard print pair for my all black look. There was no outfit where I couldn’t include my vans – there was no outfit I didn’t want to. But now it’s 2017, and there are so many cute trainers out there, from Pumas to Superstars – the choice is endless. But as far as I’m concerned, it will only ever be Vans that pull off the effortless style this good. These super stylish vans can be paired with your office wear, or even heading down to the beach to chill with your best girl pals. However you want to wear them, wherever you want to wear them, they’ll be the perfect fit. Once a Vans girl, always a Vans Girl.
