Here at Closet Heroes, we’re not all about tall goddesses. We do look after our petite ladies too! So, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you. And this week we’re showing you how you can grow a couple of inches without wearing ten-inch heels. Trust me, I know the struggle. But, we’ll show you how you can deceive the appearance of your height with these few simple style tricks for longer legs, so you can grow a couple of inches – and up your confidence! Because sometimes, we all need that little boost! Literally.

1. ONE COLOR

“By wearing only one color you’re not cutting your body off with different shades. With one color it’s unsure to tell where your legs end and your torso begins. There is no specific color that works best, which makes it all the more fun. But don’t be afraid to go all one shade, you can always mix it up with your accessories.”

2. NUDE HEELS ARE YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND

“Ok, so it’s no news that heels will help you out in your longer leg effort. But a nude heel will do the job the best. By picking a nude shade, pick close to your skin tone. That way it won’t look like your legs end, which will give you that desired length all the way to the floor. For optimum effects, pair your nude heels with your short dresses and shorts, you’ll basically look six-foot!”

3. TROUSERS TO THE WAIST

“High-waisted trousers will elongate you perfectly, it will show off your silhouette and add a couple of inches to your legs at the same time. If you are to go with flared bottoms my recommendation is always to add a heel underneath, just so you don’t get that droopy curtain look, which will make you look shorter. Pair your high-waisted with this one rule, either wear a crop top or tuck your shirt in – for extra, extra length!”

“This is probably one of the easiest and funnest hacks in the book. And especially with summer coming up, it’s easier than ever to get away with this one. The trick is to show a lot of legs with short dresses and short, shorts. Show off those legs ladies – it’s the best way to make them look longer!”
